My first project for Mixed Media Place

Hello crafty people!

Time for me, Katja to give some inspiration here at Mixed Media Place. Hope you will enjoy it.

I have alter a book with lovely Mixed Media Place supplies.

I have cut the pages to make a shadow effect in my book. All the pages are glued, and I wanted to create a vintage, grungy book.

I have used both acrylic paint and Rust Effect Paste for my colors. Made my own decorations with the paperclay moulds.

Now

A tag made of paperclay. Have stamped on clay and then painted on it. It is a easy way to make a personal background. Only take little bit time to dry.

Den 2 juni kommer det att ges tre mixedmedia kurser hos KiAs Butik i Bräkne-Hoby.

Katja "Mezzanotte" erfaren kursledare inom Mixed Media.

"Believe"

Skapa en personlig canvas med textur. Akrylfärg och wax och olika medium är i fokus. Kursen är ca 3.5 tim inkl bensträckare. 400kr

Allt material  ingår i kursen.

2 juni kl 9.30 

"Pastels"

Vi  skapar textur och bygger upp kluster av dekorationer. Vi skapar även egna dekorationer med våra dies. Kursen är  ca 3.5 tim, inklusive en kort bensträckare, 400kr

Allt material ingår.

2 juni kl 13.30

"Tags"

 En liten kortare kurs  där vi skapar två Mixed Media Tags där du får prova på Patina och Rost färger

 ca 2 tim, 250 kr

Allt material ingår.
2 juni kl  17.30

Betalning ska vara tillhanda senast 18 maj och anmälan är lika med bindande.

"Mystic Dreams" for Mixed Media & Art

"Mystic Dreams!

Hi!

Time for me, Katja to give some inspiration for the March Challenge, Mystic. 

The moodboard is  very inspirational, with nature theme. I just love it.

I have pick up the tree elements, the green and also the owl.

Have made a "Mystic Dreams" dreamcatcher.

Have created in a embroidery hoop and I had so fun when I was creating this.

Wooden elements, metallics and to make contrast I have sprinkle pearls.

Rusty Egg

Have made a really rusty egg! Love creating them.

Used acrylic paint in lilac and pink shades.

Decorated with paperclay decorations and metallic embellishments.

on your table... Here I have used what I had over on my table.... small pieces of everything.

I like the contrast of gold and silver.

Artstones, decos and all the paint are from Prima-Finnabair.
