Journey Canvas

Its a journey to create. Especially now for me when I hve started to create for workshops. It´s really fun.

Some backgrounds in mixed media. Layers of colors, embossing and mediums.

The christmas tree is made from paperclay.

This card is made in the same technique but in a different color. I have used Impasto Paint for the color.

One more and here its the pebbles in focus.

Star Tag

Here is a tag made with chipboard and a star made from Sizzix Star die.

Wax, Artisan Powder and Sparks color are used on the tag.

Trick or Treat

Have made a tag in orange, black and gold. Have used the acrylic paints from Prima.

Chipboard, strings for the texture.

Also some cheesecloths as some extra texture.

Black gesso here and there and on the top some wax from Prima Marketing. My favorite is white gold. It in gold but in the same time some silvery shine.

 Glitter and beads in mess and that is just the way I want it.

Hello Mixed Media Art friends!

Katja here and I like to share my inspiration for the fantasy challenge in October.

I have a reversed canvas for my inspiration. Lot of modelingpaste to create the texture on the frame.

Some chipboard with embossingpowder, gesso and also some glitter.

The background is colored with watercolors.

You can see the structure on the canvas, to get the effect there is some wax on top.

Now I hope to see your fantasy theme project. The moodboard is incredibly inspiring. Dont you think so?

Seasons Cards

Have started with some Christmas cards. These cards are almost the same but different in some ways.

Have you seen these lovely textstamps? They are clearstamps from Lisa Inkywings a very creative girl.

One more card with Winter wishes and also this stamp from InkyWings. Also some layers with paper, chipboard lace and more.

Canvas for a workshop

One week left for my workshops at HighCoastsscrap.

I am so excited and it will so fun to meet creative people.

Also some metallic paint and waxes, from Finnabair Prima.

Ett enkelt kort

Ett enklare kort som gjordes på pysselträffen i Ludvika. Brunt och turkost att en av mina favorit kombinationer.

 Stämpeln kommer från Carabelle Studio. Sedan har jag färgat in pappret med vattenfärger.

Altered Jar

For some time ago I took a jar  and I painted it with black gesso.

I have made my own paste to use in the baking molds. 

 Some wire, acrylic paint and on the top some Prima Wax.
